Role Overview :
Sony
Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking an experienced Global Account
Director to join the Third Party Relations team. Location will be Korea based.
Reporting into the Head of Commercial
Accounts, the Global Account Director will be at the forefront of key Asia Partners, mainly based in
Shanghai and Korea, at the highest levels, fully owning and being
responsible for the holistic global relationship with the Partner, or portfolio
of the Partners and business. Experience working in the gaming industry in Asia
as well as strategic Partner Management and Business Development will be
important. This role will require strategic relationship building with
C-Levels, key game development teams and key business leads.
What you’ll be doing :
· Own
the relationship and be a trusted advisor to the Partner. Establish strong relationships based on
knowledge of Partner’s requirements and delivering a commitment to value (value
of counsel and expertise, value of solutions, value of implementation
expertise) · Actively understand the
Partner’s portfolio, strategic growth plans, technology strategy and the
competitive landscape. Review public
information across the industry (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings
statements, press releases) to remain updated on key industry trends and issues
impacting SIE and the Partner.
· Maintain and create new
relationships across all levels of the Partner’s executive suite.

Act as primary liaison for all
facets of account and counterparts within SIE, ensuring smooth operation and
hand-off of operational needs as dictated. Ensure Partner needs are being met
by internal teams and provide leadership and guidance as needed.

Act as a consistent evangelist
for the PlayStation brand and PlayStation console services and features.
·
Work with executive leadership
to understand market dynamics, shifting consumer demands, and help adjust
priorities and plans to meet future market needs.

Develop and enforce normal
external and internal cadence of business performance reviews, post-mortems and
account improvements.
·
Generate, own and practically
implement agreed Joint Business Plan initiatives with the Partner.
· Pipeline and forecast
planning - Follow a disciplined approach to maintaining a rolling yearly plan
with weekly and monthly progress updates.
·
Identify opportunities and lead
formal partnerships with the Partner.
·
Lead account relationships within SIE across different
business units. Ensure
internal teams are aligned to deliver and support key content and initiatives.

Develop KPIs / metrics and
conduct performance analysis for key content and initiatives.
·
Work with the Partner and
internal teams to deliver physical and digital best practice across the whole
product lifecycle.
·
Develop ongoing governance and
best practice methodology with other Global Account Directors.
·
Lead the team of Account
Managers globally to deliver and execute upon the Joint Business Plan in each
region.
·
Mentor and line manage assigned
Account Managers globally.
·
Identify Partner content to
drive a PlayStation message and point of difference. |
